Palacio de Bornos began making wine in 1976, alongside the Appellation of Origin Rueda. Since those early days it has sought to exploit the great potential of the Verdejo grape in a single variety wine, with its individual, unique character, to produce a high quality still and traditional method sparkling wine.
Founded in 2001, Bodegas LLeiroso is located in Valbuena de Duero, in the middle of Ribera del Duero’s “Golden Mile”, just a few meters from the river that nourishes our vineyards and close to the Santa María de Valbuena monastery. Designed with modern and innovative vinification and barrel ageing facilities, the winery was created with a single mission: To produce top-end wines that reflect the Ribera del Duero wine-growing tradition, the tireless work, passion and dedication of the people working its land, while also expressing the winery’s own particular style and personality.
Located in Uruñuela, in the heart of the Rioja Alta, Martínez Corta has benefited from the tireless efforts of four vine-growing generations. This family affair has undergone quite a journey, which began with the planting of the first vines on the slopes of the Najerilla river bank, next to the San Asensio and Torremontalbo villages.
From that moment on, the Martínez Corta name has been synonymous with great know-how and passion for wine, together with a meticulous care and attention in the vineyard passed down from fathers to sons, enhanced by the forward-thinking ideas of the youngest members of the family.
Founded in 1951, Señorío de Sarría is located at a historically key site of the Camino de Santiago: Puente La Reina. Vineyards are planted on slopes and well-exposed locations around Puente la Reina, Olite and Corella. Varieties Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo, and Garnacha are planted on vines over 60 years old.
A history of tradition and new beginnings. Eight generations of winemaking history. A unique estate situated at the foot of the Moncayo mountain in poor, gravelly soils from the Tertiary era, dating back over 22.5 million years. Wines that seamlessly blend native varieties Tempranillo and Graciano with international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
In 2006, the Ferrús Guasch family acquired and revitalized Mas d'en Blei in the Poboleda village, developing 14.5 acres under the direction of winemaker Jordi Torrella. The varieties used, largely Garnacha and Carignan, are suited to the wines made, the slate soil and the orientation and altitude of the eight different vineyard parcels. The winery and the old farmhouse, of which there are records from 1756, are part of a set of buildings beside the river Siurana.
